In this work of art, the sunflowers serve as a metaphor for Ukrainian strength and resilience. Set against a dark background that symbolizes the shadow of war in Ukraine, the sunflowers shine with unwavering hope. Despite the surrounding darkness, they promise a bright future. For Ukrainians, the sunflower is more than a flower—it is a symbol of national pride and enduring spirit. Even in the bleakest of times, the sunflowers will always shine.
